Experience and learn about chocolate's tree-to-bar journey and all the things that go into making--and tasting--extraordinary craft chocolate. Better yet, pair your curated chocolate experience with friends and your favorite wines!
The tasting flight will include 6 of our exclusive seasonal bars of single-origin chocolate--including our newest Autumn 19 Harvest and a vegan coconut milk bar dusted with caramelized golden turmeric from the farm!
We will also feature a custom specialized truffle made by Pastry Chef, Tempered Nashville owner and Chocolatier, Staci Wolff.
The event will be led by 21 Degrees Estate Owner & chocolate sommelier, Maria Carl, together with 21 Degrees Estate Head Farmer, Michael Rogers who will take you on the journey from tree to bar. Cameo appearances by the miniature goats of 21 Degrees Estate may also happen....
The KOSC board will be picking up the tasting kits from the farm and making them available for pick up aboard MCBH. Details on picking up of your tasting kits will be sent to you closer to the time of the event.
This event is open to members and their families only.

You're invited to enjoy chocolate from "Bean to Bar," an educational guided tour of everything there is to know about chocolate, including growing cacao trees, harvesting and post-harvest processing of cacao beans, all the way to an extensive tasting of the finished product everyone loves.
As you may know, cacao and dark chocolate are considered super foods due to their high levels of polyphenol antioxidants, magnesium, iron and potassium. It's active ingredient, theobromine, is the ultimate "feel good" compound that interacts with brain receptors for with a slow release of serotonin and endorphins and provides energy without the jitters of its alkaloid cousin, caffeine, found in coffee.
Best of all, you’ll enjoy a pre-delivered flight of our exclusive single-origin, Koolaupoko-appellation dark, milk and inclusive chocolates all grown from cacao grown in our spectacular volcanic rain forest terroir here on our farm, Similar to a wine tasting, we teach you how to taste chocolate like a connoisseur and will recommend beverage pairing you may wish to add at home.
