Did you know that approximately 25% of active duty military families need assistance with food? Want to help, but don't know how?

The KOSC is partnering with the Armed Services YMCA Hawaii for their once-a-month 'Ohana Open Market on MCBH.

What is that? The ASYMCA, along with the Hawaii Foodbank, host a food distribution on MCBH once a month to provide military members and their families with free pantry and grocery staples.

In less than a day YOU can help make a true impact within our community! No long term commitment required! No advance training needed. Spend four hours doing something good, and make it extra good by going with a friend!

As a volunteer, you would work the 'Ohana Open Market day on MCBH from 10 AM - 2 PM. If you have to leave a few minutes early for school pickup that is OK, but the end of the session is a busy time so if you can stay the whole time that is their preference.

We hope to make this an ongoing partnership with the ASYMCA and have some of our 140+ members representing us each month.
